My Journey Building Vikaph - Automated Landing Pages for PH MSME
2026-08-25
I started Vikaph.com to offer low-cost landing pages for Philippine MSMEs who need an online presence but cannot afford expensive web development services. Initially, I manually used AI tools to create each project, which was time-consuming but delivered quality results.
While browsing HackerNews, I stumbled upon OpenAI engineering practices at https://openai.com/index/harness-engineering/. This sparked an idea on how to implement similar automation in Vikaph to streamline website development. The key insight was building an agent system that could handle the entire development workflow autonomously.
Today, my AI costs are within $10 monthly regardless of how many websites I create. I run the agent locally to eliminate cloud hosting expenses, making the service extremely cost-efficient while maintaining quality. This approach allows me to serve more MSMEs with affordable landing pages without sacrificing margins.
